Smart said the drive had 0 errors and power on hours of 6years 7months. Not terrible. Testing the drive fount 0 errors. Delivery was quicker than Amazon estimated. I’d buy again.

My previous HGST drive lasted a long time.
My first HGST drive was purchased as a joke on the “DeathStar” drives; it lasted ten years before the click of death….I use this for offline storage in a USB 3 enclosure, connect it , run a backup, disconnect it and shelve it, hope you never need the second copy of your stuff.I was impressed enough with how long my “it’s gonna die”, “joke” drive lasted, that I bought a second one.
