So far, it’s holding up to the task.Now, you won’t have the precise control like you have from two handles without a bit of practice and use of guides. But, in trade, you can get into places a wider router just can’t get to. For example, we had a coop door swell more than anticipated after a soaking rain. Without having to remove a single board or screw, we were able to trim down the siding to allow the door to shut, again. Eyeballing the project, it looked as if half the bit would be into the wood. As it turned out, it was more than three quarters. But this little router ran strong and true, and made quick work of the task. It did warm up some, but that is to be expected for the paces I put it through.The RPMs are great and it delivers abundant power for routing and trimming applications. The clear base is a handy feature that let me ensure I wouldn’t hit screws. Adjustments are simple and easy; they can practically be made on the fly. Plus, it includes 15 bits.This is a great tool that is easy to use. It will come in handy for the experienced woodworker or diy’er; it’s a great tool for someone just starting out.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this router or to give it as a gift.

Great Router For Beginners
We aren’t wood workers, and are brand new to routers so I apologize if this isn’t helpful, but I’m going to do my best.This router seems sturdy, durable, and well built with quality material. It’s easy to use, it has a rubber grip (sorry, not sure what that’s called), and the base is clear, which is nice so we can see what we’re doing (because we need all the help we can get). It’s powerful enough for our needs without being ‘scary for beginners’ powerful.The router comes with 15 router bits, a straight guide, guide plate, trimming guide, carbon brushes, wrenches to change the bits, and more…all the things that beginners like us need. The included wrenches aren’t the best, but they get the job done and since the bits are really easy to change, that’s not an issue for us at all.The included instruction manual isn’t super thorough, but what it does include is clear and helpful.Being new to the router game, we found this tool to be perfect for our skill level.Recommend.
