Perfect solution, Storage plus convenience
This is one of those items you won’t appreicate how much you needed it until you have it. It fits the module perfectly and securely plugs into an outlet without blocking the other outlet. The usb drive storage is more than adequate for even the busiest cameras and it’s easy to remove for additional backups. I appreciate that the clips are automatically backed up to the cloud, but I like having a backup of the backup, so having the thumb drive easily accessed for that is perfect. It’s such a simple piece of clever plastic that I marvel at how creative people are. It provides exactly what is needed to put the module where it can be plugged into power and not one bit more. Neat, tidy, and totally suited to the task. Highly recommend.

Washable (not recommended)
Bought the card for blink. Hated blink but buying another card. I’ve accidentally washed this thing in the laundry three times. Let it sit to dry a full day each time. Still freaking works. Files all there.

Simple, easy and more eye appealing application
Simple and easy to put together. The Sensor 2 fits easy into the holder, wire connects easily, put in the 256 usb flash drive, put it in your 110v plug and up and running you go. Fits securely into the plug and feels durable enough not to worry about it falling out of the plug or the sensor falling out of the holder. It looks alot nicer than the long cord sitting on a piece of furniture.

Must buy the plan-local storage not working
Install was fairly easy, so excited, we had it two weeks and it quit working. Tried to contact support and that was a waste of my time. Tried everything the help suggested. Finally deleted the entire system, and reinstalled everything didn’t work.Deleted everything again and even deleted and reinstalled the app. Still not working. Been a week now. The “free trial” ends soon. So nice of them, we won’t be subscribing. My husband and I both have wasted hours of our time with this thing, tried 50+ times to get this thing to work. It keeps telling us the internet password is wrong (it isn’t, all our other stuff is connected and works). Apparently ours is defective. Will update if I ever hear from support.Don’t waste your money.Update: did finally get it working with support, but still having issues with it not saving video. Purchased the plan and it is no longer an issue. I think it’s on purpose so you have to buy their plan. We still have issues with local storage not working more than 6 months after purchase.

Update firmware to 16.0.14 if the videos don’t save
I just got the Blink Add-On Sync Module 2 and this item. At first I was not able to get the videos to save to local storage, even after trying formatting it to both FAT32 and exFAT. Eventually I found a Reddit thread where someone said they were able to get it to work after contacting Blink customer support to update their firmware to 16.0.14, and that’s when I noticed that the module I received was on version 15.9.16. Since there didn’t seem to be a way to trigger a firmware update on my own (I tried variations of power cycling and holding down the reset button on the module), I called Blink technical phone support (which fortunately runs 24/7. You can find their contact info in the Blink app by navigating to Settings > Help > Contact Support > Call Tech Support). Once the firmware was updated to 16.0.14, videos saved to local storage correctly as expected.Only time will tell the quality of the USB drive and how long it lasts, but it seems to work well out of the box. Additionally, love the clean design and how simple/clean it looks and got it mostly for the mount.p.s. The sync module LED lights are so bright and visible all the way across the room and can be a bit annoying. Wish the kit included a black sticker to cover up the lights and tone them down a bit.

easy hook up…pay the couple extra bucks…it is worth it!
So I previously purchased a similar device but the SD card did not work and was a major PIA to get it to work. This time, i read the reviews and decided to try this one, even though it was a couple bucks more. Boy was I happy! This was a simply plug in and put the card in and BAM! It all worked just as I wanted. It was compatible to my Blink System and looks neat plugged in. With the proper card I do not need a monthly subscription for my cameras.

Not reliable, tried tested and failed
It constantly disconnects from the internet. Which means the cameras either won’t work at all or they will trigger on event and not be able to record anything. The module also fails and will not recognize that there is a memory card in it and now I can’t view and recordings without paying for a subscription because now it’s recording them in the cloud instead my sd card. Sometimes it is as simple as unplugging the module and plugging it back in (but you can’t do that when you’re on vacation) and sometimes it takes hours to get it to reconnect to the sd card and internet. So now we have been away there have been 300+ motion events and I can’t see a single one. Additionally, even when it’s working it’s too slow to respond so I can’t never talk to someone over the door bell camera while they are at my front door. We have tried and tried to make it work but issues are becoming more frequent and I can’t rely on this to work while I’m gone (which is the entire point of having the blink cameras). We will be switching to Ring or Google nest. I don’t recommend blink for anything or anyone.
