Good buy with manual timers
This outdoor Alexa plug is exactly what I needed! It paired with my Alexa app in just a couple of minutes—super easy setup with no hassle. I use it for my bug zapper, and christmas lights it works like a charm. Set them on a routine through Alexa to tuen they on and off, dont have to worry if I unplugged them be for going to bed. I love being able to turn the lights on and off with just my voice or the Alexa app. It’s reliable, weather-resistant, and makes the yard feel cozy and effortless.Highly recommend!

Works very well
I use 4 of these for exterior control of several water pumps of various sizes. Although they are “weatherproof”, each is protected from the elements in a weatherproof plastic box. They are easy to install and configure with Alexa.

Better than I ever expected
So easy. Didn’t have to do anything. Plugged it in to the power, opened the app on my phone, and it said; “2 new devices found. Plug 1 and plug 2.” I spent hours, 2 days ago, trying to get the KASA outdoor 2 plug to work. The Meross 3 plug outdoor stopped working and wanted me to update their system. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SMART DEVICE THAT ISN’T PART OF THE AMAZON ECHO SYSTEM. ( Especially plugs). It just isn’t worth the headaches. And it was only two bucks more.

Plug is OK, but for outdoor lighting control, Alexa is unsatisfactory.
Plug works as expected; the problem is Alexa. It cannot cope with an instruction to turn on the plug more than 60 minutes before sunrise. So, you have to set it for a fixed time and adjust it constantly as the seasons progress. That may have been acceptable 20 years ago, but better options are available today.

I’ve had them less than a week but I’m in love! I leave for work before the sun is up and my husband always forgets to turn the Christmas lights off. This has been a game changer! I can now set a routine in my Alexa app so they will auto turn on/off at scheduled times and if it happens to be overcast/dark one day I can remotely turn them on from my phone! 10/10 would buy again and highly recommend. Setup was super easy too since I already had the Alexa app.

When I say this makes life so easy for my Christmas lights. I don’t have to worry about turning them off and off or unplugging in the rain. I just tell Alexa to do it for me. Good quality and works fine.
