TLDR; overall solid Robovac. Minor drawbacks but a worthy product. I would choose this over ANY unit without a self-emptying base. My next Eufy will be a higher-tech model that can handle obstacle-heavy areas / babies / pets better and hopefully a better Low Battery Return to Base process.

Love the self-cleaning dust collection. Its been running for over a week and I haven't bothered to check the bin. I won't go back to a manually emptying unit.
My floors are clean. We've almost completely stopped vacuuming manually and you can walk around barefoot in this house without having dirt stick to your feet.
Setting schedules is easy in the app.
Auto-return cleaning is a good feature. You have to turn it on in the app under Settings.
BAD:
Like my previous Eufy (15C) this vacuum becomes completely retarded when it goes into Low Battery mode, but the G30 is worse. Yesterday instead of returning to Base, it attacked a chair in the living room for 5 minutes until I intervened. It often has problems like this. I feel that Eufy could do a much better job programming this mode to seek Home and get there quickly.
We still have the 15C and we brought it back online at the same time as the G30. The Bases are on opposite ends of the house, and several times the G30 is within 15ft of its own Base but instead tries to go home to the 15C base on the far side of the house.
The 15C Random pattern cleaning does a better job of handling trouble areas (baby play floor scattered with toys and baby attacking the vacuum). I would like the G30 to be updated to add the old 15C cleaning pattern and logic, and a switch in the app to choose which cleaning pattern I want – Random or Grid.
Overall this is a very good vacuum and the self-emptying feature alone makes it a better choice than any vacuum that I have to empty manually. That being said, I would like to see these programming items addressed by Eufy – if they fix the Return to Base program, make it so the vacuum can identify its specific base, and add the 15C Cleaning pattern & logic as an option, then this is a 5-Star product all day long.
If I was going to buy my first Robovac and this was my Max Spend (I got a Refurb for $150), I would buy the G30. If I didn't mind spending extra, I would step up to a self-emptying unit with better sensors like the L60 which is showing $230 right now at Wally World.

I love it It picks up my pets hair really well and makes it look clean. Exceptional cleaning power battery last about an hour and a half on each charge and I run it every day.

DONT BUY, YOU CANNOT GET REPLACEMENT FILTERS. THERE ARE NO FILTERS AVAILABLE FOR G30PLUS. RIP OFF!!

Better than the old Eufy
Bought this to replace my old Eufy vac. That we received as a Christmas gift. That lasted over 6 yearsBought this to replace the old.So far works great and even better quieter, more suction and the station empties the vac.
