Profile vs. Breville. Profile Wins!!!!
Very happy with my new Profile coffee maker! I’ve been a long time user of the Breville grinder-maker. Went through 2 in 10 years. The Brevelle was high maintenance and quirky. So this time I tried the Profile. SO GLAD I DID!!!! The design is superior! It also makes great coffee! Well worth the money! The wide mouth on the pot makes for easy cleaning! My one disappointment is the max capacity of 10 cups. I would have preferred 12 cups. Still, a great machine with great features.

Burn hazard
At the end of the day, while the GE Profile Smart Grind & Brew has the potential to be a solid coffee maker, its serious design flaws leave much to be desired. The brew quality is impressive, but the safety concerns, water leakage, and unpredictable filter basket behavior really overshadow its strengths. If you want a reliable, hassle-free coffee experience, this one might not be the best option. It’s a gamble between great coffee and a frustrating, potentially painful morning.

Great coffee with slight learning curve
Makes a great cup of coffee. The beans do not automatically feed. Even when the hopper is full the machine will pause and flash add beans. You open the hopper and push them closer to the grinder. The basket for the single serve does not sit in the filter compartment correctly. The lever – slider that goes from pot to single serve can be a little challenging. The machine gets confused. I find it easier to just brew a small pot, 4 cups. I like The water reservoir can brew two full 10 cup pots. Cleaning is simple with the provided brush. There is a feature called last time to brew. It displays how long since you brewed the pot. It really does brew a great cup of coffee. There will be a slight leaning curve. Hope this helps.

Makes great coffee.
Nice looking coffee maker. Grinder works well. Directions are a little on the brief side. It took me a couple of time yo figure out how to clean the shoot. Carafe doesn’t keep the coffee hot for long but having the large water container makes it easy to just empty brew basket and make another pot of coffee so we just set it for smaller quantity at a time. I wouldn’t necessarily say it was a good value since it was pricey but overall happy with it.

Missed the mark.
This should be 5 stars but for two very ridiculous things and a couple of inconveniences. It is beautiful, works great, makes good coffee and being on wifi is awesome! But the carafe is terrrrrrible. Coffee stays hot for about 5 seconds. Be prepared to microwave after your first cup. Also the showerhead gets tons of splashback with grounds. You have to clean it and the underside of the basket holder each time. The bean grinder basket is pretty small, so you have to load it often. The water container size is ok, but could certainly be bigger. I would not buy this again.

Poor engineering
I replaced my Gevi with this and am disappointed. I wanted to have a built in grinder and the ability to brew bold coffee. Coffee brews bold with ground coffee but is weaker with beans. It has a sleek looking design but, functionally, it’s mediocre. I had trouble figuring out how to close the basket. It takes an upward gentle push once I figured it out, it works fine. The carafe leaks from the spout while pouring so I need a paper towel every time I pour so it doesn’t leak down the carafe. You can’t get the last bit of coffee without removing the cover and turning the carafe upside down. Removing the basket after brewing for cleaning is messy because there is still brewed coffee that didn’t make it to the carafe. The cover of the carafe has a clunky fit that requires trial and error to seal every time. In summary, ok coffee brewing with poor design.

Bad Product
This is a very expensive coffee maker and it does not have a warmer plate so the coffee won’t stay hot longer than an hour or two.

Ge coffee machine.
Works great. A little pricey. Coffee temperature is hot. The temperature is adjustable and has 5 settings for the grinder. Easy to use.
