Makes life easier. If you have a consistent schedule of other Roombas sweeping dirt and then the Braava mopping after (three times a week for me), then the floor actually looks nice. The Braava isn’t going to out-mop a human, but it sure does help maintain a floor’s shine and need for a manual deep cleaning. App is pretty easy to use and the mapping feature is nifty. You can set up zones to avoid like a sliding door track or the dog bowls. Would buy again, no doubt!

Great mop, works very well.
I’m surprised at how much I like this thing. It actually mops the floor. Works well with the i7, and even the dry mop pad picks up an alarming amount of dirt and dog hair. Highly recommended.

doesn’t clean well and can’t map my house
Setup :Setup seems easy enough but the if you have any dark floor or thresholds it doesn’t work. The edge detection sensor reads dark great floors in my kitchen as a step so it won’t map my kitchen.After it’s been mapped to run on the dark floors it isn’t able to rerun on the same room. It’s just defective in that it can’t run on dark floors.Cleaning :I’ve had the 300 series and it does aback and forth motion which cleans really well. This version only does a wet sweeping motion which objectively doesn’t clean as well. I’ve tried the highest cleaning mode and still it leaves dirt and food drops in the kitchen.The solution you have to buy is expensive and doesn’t seem to do much for removing dirt off the ground. It’s been months using it now and I figured it would learn the house so that it was more efficient but it’s really the worst automated mop on the market.In general i wouldn’t recommend this for cleaning.Customer service :Customer services knew exactly what the problem when I spoke with them. There was a super long wait and when I got them they pretty much said that it’s a known limitation of the product which is something they should address. I follwoed up with a message to their technical leads over linkedin and email which were all ignored. Not a good sign of customer focus!Executive leadership :CEO, CTO and Customer service leaders all of them ignored my messages. I sent specific product recommendations for addressing the issues. The reply email pretty much said they can’t take customer ideas.

It works as what I expected. Save me a lot of time and energy to clean the floor. Mapping takes a lot of time at the beginning, but it works pretty well after mapping.
