Easily tackles the dog shedding and worth the $$
This is a fantastic vacuum! Setup was a breeze on the app and making a map of the home was so quick. I ran this overnight and could barely hear the Roomba running which is great. I was concerned that the low noise level might mean less than ideal suction. Definitely not the case! It picked up all the dirt that my dogs bring in from outside and they’re constantly shedding. I didn’t even get into the mopping yet, but it has been really good. The scrubbing the roller does on the ground works really well to remove dog prints and watching it extend is really cool. Best part is the shield thing to protect the few rugs we have. If you are debating this, get it, it is so worth the money as it’s gonna make life so much easier and keeping up with the craziness.

Great time saver!
Very happy with this purchase! I am very OCD when it comes to my floors and my house, the iRobot Roomba Max 705 has met my standards surprising well.We live out in the country on a gravel road and have a Jack Russell Terrier, so my house can get very dusty and covered in pet hair all throughout the day. I normally have to sweep/vacuum several times a day which can be very time consuming. The Roomba has cut my cleaning time drastically. I can set it to run on a schedule and it frees me to do other things. I love that it can both vacuum and mop my floors and it really is great for the pet hair.It was easy to set up, runs very quietly, and keeps my floors looking great! It also moves over low obstacles (rugs and transition strips) very well.

Nothing but error messages
First the first one, nothing but bumper stuck error messages after the first couple of uses. Troubleshooting tips don’t work. Disappointing for their “top of the line” product. Returned and bought another – this one leaks water under the base station and errors out more than half the time. Tired of troubleshooting and resetting it. Too bad, past roomba products worked well for me. Time to try the competition.

Impressed Again — My 3rd Roomba and the Best One Yet!This is my third Roomba — my first was almost 20 years ago (don’t even remember the name!) and my second about 10 years ago. The new iRobot Roomba Max 705 is on a whole different level. Technology has come a long way, and it really shows.Setup & Mapping——————— Setup was super simple. The new app connected instantly with no hassle.- First thing I did was run it to map the floor — the map came out perfectly.- In the app, I easily defined all my zones (Kitchen, Family Room, Dining, Living Room) just by tapping and drawing. Very intuitive.Performance—————- Tried a regular vacuum run first, then tested the vacuum + mop in the kitchen.- The movement is much smoother than older generations. It doesn’t slam into furniture or walls anymore — it slows down as it senses objects, which is great because we have some fragile items.- The mop leaves the floor pretty dry afterward, which I really appreciate.- It finds the dock easily every time.- It covers the entire map and shows the cleaning path clearly in the app, which is very cool to watch.- empty itself, cleans itself, so easy to have it run on a scheduleOverall———This Roomba is efficient, smart, and surprisingly gentle. The combo of vacuuming, mopping, and live mapping makes it feel like a major upgrade from anything I’ve owned before. So cool and so effective!Highly recommended.

Excellent robot; disappointing App.
The Roomba Robot, my first, is very good. It has, so far, exceeded my expectations. It runs every day.I have three labradors, so you might imagine the amount of fur they shed and debris they drag into my house. Let me tell you; my floors have never been so clean as they are now, after the robot arrived. I’m so impressed with the device that I’ve actually named it Furman and welcomed it into our home.Unfortunately, I’m not at all impressed with the accompanying App. It is not intuitive and lacks important features that, I think, sadly devalues the entire package.

Clean, power, and mopping!
This vac is fantastic! This is replacing a Roborock i have with noticeable improvements in mopping with the extending mop now fulling mopping to to the walls. Having it go back home, empty, and clean the mop automatically is awesome, saving me from having to buy multiple mop pads and constantly replacing and having to wash them. Lastly, the app is a big improvement now accurately showing the layout of my home along side the areas its able and not able to access due to furniture, identifying furniture, and not getting confused and showing false rooms.

This cleaner does a solid job overall. I really appreciate that it can mop and vacuum at the same time—definitely a convenient feature. It isn’t the quietest machine (the auto empty is quite loud) and it can leave occasional streaks when mopping, but for everyday cleaning it performs very well.

A robot vacuum I don’t have to rescue-I can finally relax and let it clean.
Immediately noticed the solid and sturdy feel of the unit. Set up was so easy that my 13-year-old was able to complete it by himself. The mapping was quick and very impressive, and I love how the app ran me through the final checklist. I was initially worried about the 3 throw rugs in the house getting wet during the smart-mop function, but the unit recognized surface changes very well and transitioned very smoothly.My favorite feature of all is how much smarter this Roomba is than any other robot vacuum I have ever had (I’ve had 3 previous cheaper brands). The cheaper models were always finding a cord or random thing to get hung up on or tangled in and I was constantly having to get them un-stuck or un-tangle things; This Roomba avoids all obstacles for a stress-free experience. I can finally relax and let the Roomba clean without worrying if it’s going to go try to get itself tangled or get jammed up with the one sock in the house. It also had no problem finding the dock to empty itself or return to charge, and I have it tucked back into the entryway coat closet. This Roomba is the first robot vacuum I will trust to run while I’m not in the house; the true helper I’ve been looking for.

Excellent cleaning and mopping quality on hardwood floor. This model never gets stuck.The new-ish Roomba Home app is an improvement compared to iRobot.When docked after mopping, it dries the mop, which produces a moderately loud humming sound, which surprised me at first. Mop drying can be turned off in the app and the noise stops once the mop is dry.

I really wanted to like this combo bot.I upgraded from an old, dumb Roomba to a Mova, which was great at first. Extremely smart most of the time and very good at cleaning. After it ran over dog poop and I couldn’t clean it properly without removing a screw that voids the warranty, and at the same time I realized that those vacuums are never meant to be repaired at home because they are super difficult to take apart, can’t be taken apart without voiding warranty, and there are no parts available, I returned it. I would rather have a dumb, modular, repairable Roomba.The reason I bring this up is because I was hoping this vacuum would be in the realm of the Chinese vacuums. However, it’s just dumb knockoff, and a poorly designed one at that.The rubber piece inside the dirty water tank always caused issues with it sucking up the dirty water. I confirmed that it could open fully in all directions, but still could not get the Roomba to think it wasn’t clogged with it installed. So, as many other people with this vacuum have (BAD DESIGN), I took it out, which seemed to solve the issue for a while, if you ignore all the little dirty water puddles all over the floor. But at least the thing would run. Still, pretty garbage to have to work around errors right out of the box.Then the error kept coming back. I cleaned the dirty water tank multiple times. I managed to even clean the glob of hair out of the impossible to clean little chamber that goes from the drip tray into the tank itself- don’t get this vacuum if you have pets. Yes, I was running the Roomba in vacuum then mop mode, as recommended for pets. The error still wouldn’t clear, and the Roomba would just keep vacuuming a small area, trying to mop, failing, and ending the job.I did enough fighting to try and get this thing to work for a few weeks. I ended up returning. Do not buy until they figure out a better design, or go for the one with the spinning mop pads and not this horribly designed dirty water tank that it seems like they expected was only ever going to have clean water run through it.

This product is great at cleaning. I replaced my Roomba 960 with this rather than change the battery.It does a very good job on hardware floors and average on small carpets. It’s navigation is very impressive compared to older generations. It finds it’s way through tasks efficiently. Their new software is 4 star at best. Some features are definitely missing. It is very usable and capable even though not very intuitive.Important note.. out of the box this device will get firmware updates. It takes at least an hour for the robot and the dock. Make sure to reboot the roomba and the dock after they are completed. The software doesn’t prompt you to do so but mine was misbehaving until I rebooted both devices. Well worth the price.

Si j’avais du l’évaluer le premier jour il aurait eu 5 étoiles. Mais le 3 émet jour il a viré sur le top (est devenu fou). Part dans les mauvaises pièces, se perd dans la maison, fait des erreurs à répétition, demande à vider les bacs qui sont déjà vide, demande le remplissage du bac d’eau qui est dėjà plein. Et quand enfin il part pour laver il fait des grosses flaque d’eau et le plancher est plus sale après son passage. J’ai choisi ce robot car j’en ai un aspirateur de la même marque qui fait bien son travail. L’objectif de cet achat étant d’avoir un aspirateur/laveur. En fin de compte il est devenu un aspirateur/ saliseur.Bref je n’en veux plus .Si vous décidez de l’acheter réfléchissez à 2 fois car Amazon rembourse que 3,99 $ pour le retour.
