Great router with easy setup!
Great router! I bought this a bit on the whim when I wanted a bit more range for my home and to avoid some dead spots and this one has been great. Pleasantly surprised by the app and how easy installation was. Covers the whole home (1400 sq ft. on main floor and 1300 sq ft in the basement) and looks good doing it. The value was pretty good and I’d expect to probably pay a little more for a tri-band 6E router, so it gets an A in my book!

Almost perfect
I would give 5 stars if the signal strength was stronger for the wifi but otherwise great router.

Fast WiFi for Gamers, Busy Families & Home Offices
I work from home, game online, and have a family that’s constantly streaming, scrolling, and using their phones and tablets—and this Motorola MQ20 has handled it all without breaking a sweat. Setup was super easy, the coverage is solid all over our house, and I haven’t had a single lag or drop since switching. The speed is seriously impressive. I can be on a video call while someone’s gaming and others are streaming movies in HD, and everything stays smooth. The parental controls are a nice bonus for keeping the kids’ screen time in check, and the app makes managing devices super simple. If you’re working remotely or have a busy household full of devices, this router is worth every penny. Fast, reliable, and easy to use—exactly what I needed!

Powerful, Future-Ready, but Not Without Caveats
I upgraded to the Motorola MQ20 for its WiFi 6E and tri-band promise, and it mostly delivers. In my 2,000 ft² home, the 6 GHz band gives lightning speeds in the same room as the router, and the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands cover distant rooms decently. The 2.4 GHz band reaches both the back and front yard with lots of bars. Setup via the app was smooth, but then you find out that the router is kind of limited unless you pay for a subscription. Yeah you get the first year free, but if you plan on having this for longer, then you will have to pay up to continue to use the security features. Functionally, the router handled many simultaneous devices (phones, TVs, smart home) without choking or lag. However, the top advertised speeds (8.4 Gbps) feel more marketing than real life, my devices rarely exceed 800–900 Mbps even under good conditions with 1Gbps internet. Also, the 6 GHz signal struggles through some walls, so coverage in some rooms drops off faster than I hoped (with Google Pixel 9). Overall, it’s a solid, modern choice for a home trying to stay ahead of the curve—just temper expectations for range, real-world speed, long term features.

Great router with super easy setup
Packaging was nice and everything arrived exactly as expected. Setup was quick, and the MotoSync+ app made the whole process really straightforward. I really like the built-in features in the app, especially the notifications when new devices connect. Speeds have been great, and the coverage around my home has been solid so far. Overall, a great purchase and I’m really happy with it.

Misleading information
I would say buyer beware ,do your research before purchase as I did and it still did not work correctly. Would not recommend this product to anyone due to incorrect information given. Had to purchase another router from different place.

Don’t buy
I have used this for several months now and I’m not pleased. The design is for basic users – the ability to do advanced settings is extremely limited. It offers a mobile phone app, but no desktop or web-based app. Additionally, if you want their security or most other features, you have to pay for it.The EULA gives them the right to steal your data for their own purposes. Finally, I got this one because it theoretically meets the specifications required for my 1GB connection. In reality, though, the download speed is usually much less – as bad as -50% – so it’s not working right or isn’t what it says it is.Given the price of this product, all the limitations and the paid services, this isn’t worth it. They’re robbing you of your money and data.

Terrific Upgrade
We are very pleased with the performance of this new router. We immediately noticed better coverage, with a much stronger, more stable signal throughout our home than we’ve ever had before. Set up was not difficult and all in all wel worth the price.
