It does what it says it does. It was easy to set up and I haven’t had any problems with connectivity so far. I would recommend this product.

Many new modems combine the 2.4 and 5Mghz bands so trying to get a smart plug working on 2.4 when your modem/router automatically ups it to 5.0 becomes a problem. This connected and was discovered easily.

Instructions unclear, and yet it was easy to set up.
Took me a few minutes to figure out how to pair, the app a highlights how to “How to pair” but if you click on that link it sends you to a page that tells you to follow the instructions of the device, this was both disappointing and frustrating.So I tried to pair again and some how the second time the device was found, I unplugged it to pair the second device and this one was also found immediately.The device connectivity is good, it connected to my Wifi easy and without problems.Once connected it’s easy to manage on the phone app that you have to download.Things I like:Easy to turn on and off, both with the app or the button the size on the actual plug.Can be set to turn On or Offf on a schedule.Can be set to turn On or Off on a timer.Things I don’t like:The is an option to set it by temperature, but I can’t find how this works as there is no temperature sensor on the plug.Must create an account.Requests access to device location.On device information shows you actual home IP address, not the assigned local IP Address, I don’t like this, I don’t like my actual home address to be show on a device infoThe app is not very intuitive to use, for example there is an option to edit the plug location, but when you try to do so it gives you the option to “Select a Room” but there are no rooms found so you can’t really assign it to anything.The app has an option for “Subscriptions” No clue what is that for but I don’t like it, a device like this should never have anything related to a subscription.
