These seem to consistently charge from fairly low light conditions. I have had them in use for more than 6 months and tested in winter conditions. They work consistently, they require minimal maintenance, just an occasional cleaning of natural debris from solar panel, that’s it. They are a deterrent and alert alarm for deterring of and awareness to intruders. They are fairly loud and flash. I think they are a real good supplement or layer to additional and different types of alarm or security systems. That is how I use them.

Rabbits are hungry
It works okay for what I needed. Having trouble with rabbits. They are short and think they don’t care that they are destroying my beans. May have to lower sensor to work better.

These Work Well As A Safe Way To Scare The Critters From Your Plants
These work very well. I have never bought one that didn’t work. I used them to keep deer and rabbits away from my landscaping and garden. They work! Can be set for daytime only or nighttime only. And can be set for flashing lights only or flashing lights and siren.I have watched possums, raccoons, cats, and dogs run from this on my home security camera. I highly recommended these to anyone with a critter problem.Comes with charging cable and they are water resistant.

These are the best!
These sirens and flashing lights keep the deer out of our yard at night. And the raccoons and possum and cats, etc. We set them only to sound the alarm at night so the critters don’t set off our other security system cameras and alarms. After a week, no more movement at night except maybe once a month which a strange critter wanders in. It doesn’t take much sunlight to charge them. After a couple of years our old ones developed a haze on the solar panel but we removed it with fine sandpaper. They work perfectly and if you forget about one, it’ll scare the pants off you at night.

not impressed. 2 Dead on arrival, 2 too sensitive to use, 2 were OK
upon arrival 2 of the 6 simply didnt work, 2 , went off randomly , and 2 worked as hoped. Unfortunately I missed window to return so Im stuck with them …
