I use these exclusively and am up to 100tb storage. I’ve yet to lose a drive, and I’m so happy with these I won’t even mind losing one at this point.

Unreliable, don’t use for anything important.
Lasted 14months. Now I am accruing bad blocks at about 1 per day. This is in a tightly temperature controlled environment. Out of warranty, I’m out of luck. This will be a huge waste of time.

Very impressed with this drive. So far I have had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. I gave it a four star ONLY, and I repeat, ONLY because it is not brand new so at one point it did have some kind of defect or error deeming it to need refurbishment. Other than that, this sucker hums right along and IK will certain be purchasing more for RAID drives! I mean, which true reduuncant drive setups, you really dont have much to blame if it goes down. Get these and done bother spending top dollar on new drives for a RAID system as this should save your pocketbook in the end!

Ho acquistato il Seagate IronWolf Pro da 20TB per ampliare lo spazio del mio server Plex, dato che nel mio PC non avevo più slot liberi per altri dischi interni. Lo sto utilizzando tramite un case esterno e devo dire che l’esperienza finora è davvero ottima.La velocità di trasferimento è molto buona, stabile anche con file di grandi dimensioni, e soprattutto mi ha colpito la silenziosità: contrariamente a quanto avevo letto in alcune recensioni, nel mio caso il disco è praticamente inaudibile. Nessuna vibrazione fastidiosa, nessun rumore anomalo.Lo spazio effettivamente utilizzabile è poco più di 18TB, come normale per la formattazione, ma è comunque enorme e perfetto per chi deve gestire una grande libreria multimediale o backup pesanti.In sintesi, un prodotto affidabile, silenzioso e performante, ideale per server domestici, NAS o uso professionale.Per ora do 5 stelle piene, meritatissime!
