Good product and EXCELLENT customer service!
After searching online for a replacement door lock with deadbolt and handle to match the original that had malfunctioned, I selected this one based on appearance, competitive price, and positive reviews. Other than the price, my concerns primarily were to have 1) a lock that operates remotely from anywhere, not merely blue-tooth, 2) that fits the existing installation pattern, 3) and will function reliably. I was not looking for a lock with a fingerprint entry feature, but it was simple to set up and works well. In addition to a fingerprint entry, this lock includes passcode options that the owner can program simply using the keypad, either for oneself or separately for guests if desired. Also what is called “ekeys” that can be emailed to users, which I do not need, in view of the passcode settings. And too the lock comes with two “IC cards”–plastic fobs–that can be swiped to open the lock (but again, not necessary for me). For a standard pre-drilled door, installation is easy. However, before ordering I did carefully scrutinize the dimensions and specs, in order to avoid unwanted variations from the existing door lock. The exterior handle in particular I noted measured slightly less than the existing model, approx. 1/8″ short, but it has a variable bottom fitting for distance up or down which as I had hoped when I installed the new handle, I was able to enlarge the small bottom hole in the door enough to fit the new handle securely, and still cover the hole with the “button” cover that Smonet includes. :-)The lock seems to be made to the same standards I expected from US-made locks I have used in the past. The lock has only been in place for a few days, but I optimistically expect the finish to last, even in our direct Florida sunshine.Two other items of note: To operate this lock REMOTELY–again, not merely Bluetooth–as is noted in Smonet’s description, a G2 “gateway” modem booster is required. I purchased their recommended gateway, which is plug-and-play simple and apparently works, although I have not yet tested it from any great distance.Finally, and the icing on the cake as to why I give Smonet a 5-star rating at this juncture is their Customer Service. It is absolutely outstanding. The lock I initially received did not function. It insisted on connecting a “Bluetooth Administrator”. Nothing in the instructions addressed that, to my understanding, and trying the “re-set” did not make a difference. My initial call for help was on a Friday to a representative (in the US?) who had difficulty in sending me email instructions but I managed to send an email to her, and she relayed my information and situation to the service technicians in China–which she said would return my call the next day (at a reasonable local time for me). To my pleasant surprise, “Helen” texted me that Saturday morning my time. She was very helpful, communicates in excellent English, and since the the lock was evidently defective, she promised to replace it quickly. Next day, Sunday, she texted again–to say that Amazon would deliver a replacement to me the next day, Monday–and they did! I removed the defective lock (which was not required to be returned), installed the replacement interior lock (no need to replace the exterior handle), paired the lock successfully using their affiliate app TT Lock (no subscription required), and voila, done.Such customer concern and service was far above what I have experienced with other vendors, US or foreign. If you purchase from Smonet and have any difficulty, my suggestion is call them and ask whoever answers to put you in touch with Helen! I attach two photos of the installed lock. (I couldn’t wait to first re-paint the door, which I will do when my HOA approves the new color) Thanks, again, Smonet. (And no, I am not employed or compensated by them in any way.)

Did not fit standard door
Unfortunately I bought this early and am out of the return window, but once we got our new front door installed, the installer attempted to put in this lock set and first noticed that the hardware was a different color (silver) than the handles (bronze). Then the keypad lock deadbolt would not fit on the front door as it did not have the adjuster to be able to center the deadbolt within the door hole (not allowing the hole to be fully covered and being able to see outside even with the lock fully on). I would have returned and have reached out to their customer support to hopefully resolve this, but I’m upset that this didn’t work out since the lock was reasonably priced and looked great.

I like it
I like it. It initialized easily with the App on my phone via Bluetooth and I was able to create separate entry codes for the family members. The fingerprint reader is pretty good though I usually use my keypad code to unlock. Sometimes the keypad can be a little finicky to wake up from sleep but not too much of a problem. I have not tried any electronic Keys. My only concern would be on the strength and quality of the inside handle, I think with use, it may start to show degradation. Batteries are still in good shape after about a month of usage. The package ships with a chrome striker plates for the door opener and deadbolt. I placed a separated order for bronze plates.
