SONOFF NSPanel Pro Smart Home Control Panel with Stand
NSPanel Pro is 86 gauge, but the 120 gauge is used in the US, so it needs to be used with the Stand. And it cannot be installed on the wall.

Note: NSPanel Pro is not a wall switch. NSPanel Pro has no relays, no physical key switch button, and cannot control other devices such as light bulbs by connecting circuits

Worth the effort
After getting it to run Home Assistant, I’ve been pretty happy with this thing. I have no idea how it was intended to work, but it does a great job of running the HA frontend and displaying video from my picam.

Deceptive Marketing
The pictures imply that the base enclosure has a power cord attached to it. Now my assumption was that I would not need to deal with wall wires and I could have this on my nightstand, plugged into the wall. Every picturing showing this in the enclosure shows a power cable extending from it. That cable is totally misleading and you still need to bring power to it from a live circuit. Their installation instructions in the manual don’t show a power cable anymore but a red and black wire. I don’t have the faintest clue how to bring that kind of power to my nightstand. Can one buy a power cable that has an AC plug on one end and live and neutral wires on an other? I’m not sure how this turns into a desk device and for being a $100 device they should have been more straight forward with their marketing message.

Does not include wires.
This item does not include any way to connect electricity to the device, either in a mains-powered wall box or in the included stand. Not a single wire was included. It is simply ridiculous. There are no meaningful instructions included.A truly outrageous consumer experience.

Over promised, under delivered
The Sonoff integration with Home Assistant is abysmal. I wanted to use this panel to control Home Assistant devices – but the integration is built in a way that Home Assistant doesn’t recommend. The functionality is broken and nothing really works well. There were some firmware updates to it – but the performance of the unit is sluggish and I feel it needs a lot more attention from Sonoff to make it a viable recommendation. So this is now sitting in a drawer. I would’ve liked to use this as a Zigbee 3.0 router with my Aqara M3 Hub, but those two brands don’t talk to each other at the moment. So sitting in limbo for now.

Device Bricked Itself when installing first update
I was sent a new product release about this product from the company and I thought this was a good price point to put one of these panels into every room of the house. I bought one straight from manufacturer. Hard wired this in home and device remained operational until I started setup process and got to the part where I connected to the internet. The device then went online and downloaded updates and then restarted itself over and over until eventually not working at all. My experience may not represent current state of product as I probably bought one soon after production started on these.

Not ready for the real world
I was a early adopter, pre purchasing when first advertised.Though many bugs have been fixed through updates, the panel is not much more than a glorified clock. Many sonoff items “not supported at this time”Temperature and forecast:I have no idea where it pulls the temperatures from, but accuracy is questionable, and imperial (US settings) do not carry over to the forecast screen, only rendering in ⁰C. It is also not uncommon to require a reboot to update current temperature.Integration: though there is integration with Alexa (through app), it is limited, and Home Assistant integration at this time is nonexistent.Touch screen is finicky, and often frustrating.Energy panel only registers a limited collection of sonoff sensors and not compatible with other brands (though implied to “work with everything”.Don’t just take my word for it.
