Mounted on a little USB switcher in a network rack (w door)
I have a keyboard and mouse USB switcher that just changes between two PCs on different monitors. It sounds like an easy thing for a piece of hardware to do but I’ve been through about 5 different USB switchers now.. at some point they require replugging. I finally found one that worked without replugging but it doesn’t have a remote button that I can click from my desk (Anker 3.0 switch). This button clicker has saved me, it’s mounted on the USB switch tucked away in my rack and now I can switch between computers easily again with a remote switch (it’s even wireless!). Works great!

Simple but effective
SwitchBot Button Pusher – Surprisingly Versatile and Incredibly Handy!I picked up a couple of these and quickly found creative, practical uses for them. After running into safety issues with a not so “Wise” smart garage opener, I switched to a Button Pusher setup—just mounted it to my garage remote and instantly had a reliable smart garage clicker. Great solution for opening hatch from inside the car!
I have a Subaru Crosstrek wilderness and I’m not able to open the hatch from inside the car… Which was a bummer because I car camp a lot and I have a luno mattress.I use this switchbot and double-sided mounting tape on the outside of my hatch, mounted against the button so that I can open the lift gate from the inside of the car with the switchbot remote.It was easy to set up and a good value for the money because I think it’s the only product available that can do this!

Works great until it doesn’t, and then it does again!
Had this set up and working fine with the remote and a hub mini I also purchased. Everything was working fine and it was easy to set up. Now all of a sudden the boot can no longer stay connected and is unresponsive, always failing to connect, even after being reset.After a firmware reset it has started working again.Update: it has been running great for a while now

Works great for fireplace switch
I bought this for my gas fireplace light switch because the wiring wouldn’t work with a smart switch. Setup was quick and it works great. I don’t really ever use the wifi features, just the remote.Downsides are that it’s kind of big and looks odd, but my light switch is out of view so it’s not a problem. I wouldn’t use it in a place where the light switch is visible. Also, it doesn’t interact well with Google Home.

Defective Design – Does Not Work
I rarely review, unless needed. It’s needed here.Defective Design. The switching mechanism goes only full distance, and full strength. So… of course, if it’s pushing a button, unless the button press allows exactly that distance, it rips itself off it’s adhesive.I tried to rig it. Used Velcro instead of the included adhesive to give it a little more leeway and hopefully allow it to push the button without ripping itself off. With the velcro, it doesn’t push the button.To top if all off – the setup is absurd. Download an awful, very poorly reviewed app, setup an account, and then use their convoluted interface to pair the device, add/pair the remote, and setup what the buttons do. Before I found out the design was defective, I was concerned with how awful the app was for future me who might need to deal with this nonsense again in the future.Try it if you want, but this is poorly designed. Maybe you’ll get lucky and the distance of your button push matches this exactly. If not, you’re going to end up frusterated.

Does not work from far away

If you have common sense the product works great. Properly (important) clean the switch and make sure you follow the directions to apply it properly. This type of adhesive performs best after sitting for 24 hours. We have one mounted to our kitchen switch and this is activated at least 15 times a day It has worked flawlessly for the last 6 months we’ve had it.

Easy to install, and I love how it turned out! Now I don’t need to get up to turn off the light when I’m in bed reading and ready to sleep. It can also connect to your phone, allowing you to set an alarm to turn the light on or off at a specific time and day. Loving it so far!

Advertises that it works out of the box with no phone needed. Wrong it needs you to download an app AND make an account, accept privacy agreements….. the unit won’t work at all until you make an account. The entire point of a stand alone unit is you dont need a cellphone an app permissions or programing. The arm swings way too far out, instead of going flat it swings 25 degrees further then flat so the unit has to be mounted on an angle to avoid ripping itself off the sticky tape. The arm is strong enough to rip off the sticky tape. No ability to control arm swing angle. Highly recommend not purchasing this item.

This device sounds great until you open the box and realize they have no customizations for how to install or press different type of switches. The arm strength is enough to rip itself off whatever it is stuck to with the 3M tape. If only they had some sort of arm extension or ways to control the arm’s max rotation so it doesnt get its own self off whatever it is stuck to. I dont even think i can mcguyver this to do anything useful.
