Why can’t my device display properly when using the HDMI port?
1) The USB C port of your laptop must support the video transmission function (DisplayPort Alternate Mode), in order to use this docking station to convert video images.
2) Please make sure your HDMI cable works well.
Why can’t my device get 4K@60hz from the HDMI slot?
As not all laptops support 4K@60Hz, you need to confirm whether your laptop supports 4K@60Hz transmission. You can reference the compatible devices above which Devices UGREEN has tested. For more, please confirm with us.
What can I do if I can’t get the ethernet port to work?
1) Please install the driver first.
2) For Mac devices, add this adapter to the Network setting page. Go to “System Preferences”–>”Network”–>Select the network card with the corresponding name (AX88179USB3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet)—> “Create”
Why are SD and TF cards not recognized on mobile phones/tablets?
When using the hub with phone or tablets, please insert the SD/TF card first, and then connect the hub to the device.
Why does the 30W ROG Ally Turbo Mode cannot be triggered?
It is suggestd to connect a 87W or above PD charger to trigger the 30W turbo mode.

Ethernet and SD Card Reader
I bought this as an upgrade over an older USB-C hub that lacked a card reader and had only USB-A slots on its side. I have used it for a few weeks and so far have no complaints about its functionality or build quality. It is larger than other portable hubs I’ve had, but for me its combination of SD card, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB-C replaces two separate, smaller adapters that I had been using instead. (I hadn’t been able to find a reasonably priced hub until now that combined all of those features.) I can also charge my older (Intel) MacBook Pro through its power delivery output using my charger plugged into the wall.

So far this multiport adapter seems to work well. One caveat: Although the device may seem to work well without a separate USB power supply, it doesn’t. I experienced CD-R write failures, and Ethernet dropout, until I finally gave an external power supply a try. That fixed it.Regarding that need, the positive side is that if your laptop uses a power supply with a USB connector, you can plug that into the adapter, and then the USB cord from the adapter will charge the laptop! Works out nicely.

It works in a Window OS, but make sure you have PD compatible in your USB-C port for the HDMI
I buy it with the main reason of taking advantage of the HDMI connector. But after investigating my computer didn’t have display port compatibility on the USB-Port, so make sure you have PD-compatible in your USB-C port if you want to use the HDMI extension. On the other hand, the other connectors worked decently in the Windows OS; I have not tested it in other OSs, but I guess it may work as in the description said. My unique concern with it is that it reaches a higher temperature level after continuous use (working and studying sessions), but after all, it works well!

It’s what I was looking for. I needed Ethernet, HDMI (100 Hz refresh rate), and USB that supported charging my headset. I had other brands and always had issues with them, but this one is really good.

Must have for MacBooks
This one USB hub has saved me so much headache since buying it. I can plug I can use up a USB C port and still be able to charge my MacBook through the same port because of the built in pass through port on the hub that goes up to 100 watts. It’s also been great to use for presentations because of the HDMI port. What’s also great about it for presentations is the built in display off button which is great so that you don’t have to accidentally show anything you don’t want to on a screen/projector. The size of the hub itself isn’t too big and it’s made of mostly metal so it feels like it can take a beating. The price is also great, I saw some others that were similar but didn’t have all the features like this one had. It can read SD cards and has extra ports for USB drives inc you need them. If you’re looking to use a wired Ethernet connection this hub also has one built in. Save yourself the trouble and just get this one. You’ll thanks yourself later.

Works as advertised. It’s compact and has all the plugs I need for my MacBook Air 2025. What I like is the mini disc plug which I use from my camera. I also like to keep a small usb memory stick plugged in the usb port at all time so I don’t loose it.I have no negative about this product. Everything works! I would definitely recommend this product.

Toujours branché sur un USB-C de mon MacBook Air qui n’a que 2 ports et pas d’ethernet ni de lecteur cartes SD ou USB 2 ou 3.Fonctionne parfaitement.Je recommande ce HUB dont le prix est tout à fait raisonnable
