Great drives at a reasonable price
I ordered two and one was defective from the get go. The drive wasn’t detected by my workstation. The seller quickly shipped me a replacement. Now both drives are working as expected. They show no errors in SMART data. I plan to use these in an Unraid server.Few things not mentioned in the product listing.1. These drives were renewed/refurbished by Western Digital.2. The renewed drives come with an all-black label, from WD, not the red label as in retail drives.3. The seller offers a one-year warranty.

Not new, but passed all the tests
My drive was a “refurb” (sort of a tipoff by the price), but I ran it through a plethora of tests and it passed them all with flying colors. You take a chance with these but occasionally you get a really good one. After several months no failures, so I’ll probably buy more.

“Drives don’t fail me now”
So far so good. I’m running these in a Synology DS423+. I currently have a drive check going on to make sure the drives are fine. Disk station is stating they are healthy. I will update my review if something changes.As far as shipment, the seller knows what they are doing. It was packed very well. Drives were sealed in antistatic bags. I will be buying more of if I decide I need them.Thanks!
