A budget Vacuum/Mop combo that actually works.
EDIT 8/11/2025: For multi floor home owners, just buy a second one at this price….One of the most underrated features of robot vacuums is being able to schedule cleaning times so that your cleanings happen automatically with almost no user intervention.Sure, all these robots support multiple maps for multi-floor cleaning, but do you really want to cart your robot to it’s cleaning destination every time? Until these things sprout legs and can climb stairs, I submit to you that two lower tier vacuums, placed one on each floor, will give you better results than a top of the line if you have to cart it up and down the stairs.And the way this one is currently priced, you can actually get two for less than one of even the value flagship products.After only owning one robot for awhile, having one robot on each floor is liberating to say the least.I’m writing this review based on the price that I purchased this for. $299.00. For this price it is definitely considered a “budget” tier vacuum.But for that “budget” price you get a package that outstrips nearly everything in its price point.In the past, “budget” meant some pretty severe compromises. Like no auto empty functionality, sub standard automation, or just poor performance.Not so with this one.While Yeedi isn’t quite a household name, it is simply a value brand of Ecovacs which has a long history of building quality robots. In fact, if you browse the Ecovacs website, you can see brands of Deebot which are mirror images of the Yeedi equivalent.While it’s Mopping attachment looks a lot like other robots, it differs in that the mop head actually scrubs the floor. The robot provides constant 6N of downforce on the mop while scrubbing 480 times a minute during it’s moping session. This actually causes the vacuum to almost shimmy across the floor. It also appears that there is a stain sensor because I have seen the unit actual detect stains, and then loop around to hit them again. Something I haven’t seen in any other robot mop I owned. Most other ones I owned would simply drag a wet rag behind it.IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are looking for the better mop, make sure you purchase the C12 PRO PLUS. The cheaper C12 Plus model (the white one) does not have the vibrating mop head and just drags the wet cloth behind it like other similarly designed 1st generation robot/mop combos.. Yeedi refers both of them as “OZMO” mopping systems, so it can be confusing. The “Pro” has the OZMO MEGA mopping system which vibrates. The C12 has only the OZMO mopping system which doesn’t scrub at all. Pay the little extra and get the vibrating mop. You’ll thank me.Now granted, this robot doesn’t have the rotating rollers or rotating mop heads of more expensive models, and the base station doesn’t automatically rinse and dry the mop. But in my opinion, those are just additional things to break.The mop attachment is only used when you want to mop, it’s easy to remove, the pads are machine washable and dryable and swapping between the mop and vacuum only attachment is pretty easy. This also leads to less cleaning required of the empty station.I also like the use of bagless collection bin. No bags to replace. So for an entry level price, you are getting what would have been top tier just a few years ago.The anti tangle brush and 8000 Pa of suction is also impressive at this price point.The Roomba 105 combo is the closest competitor to the C12 Pro Plus, but it doesn’t have the vibrating mop head, the suction, the anti tangle roller system, or bagless operation. The Roomba 105 is a brand new design for iRobot, where the C12 plus is a proven design by Ecovacs as it is a clone of the Deebot N20 Pro Plus.I’ve been very satisfied with the performance of this robot, and look forward to a long useful life for this one.

Worst robot ever!!!! BEWARE!
This is the worst robot ever. Each time you go to use it, it is off-line. The app is nonfunctional. You have to uninstall and delete all information, including the app then reinstall the app and the robot each time.I did contact the company because the robot will also not hold a charge after the third day. It is dead. I have made sure that it is in a proper outlet. I have used other outlets and it will not hold a charge. The vacuum cleaner had approximately 21 hours of use when I contacted the company with the above complaints. They did send me a replacement.The replacement I just received. It has less than three hours of use on it and guess what…. Problems! The first use it worked as I thought it should. This is my first experience with a robot vacuum. There was hair caught in the roller. The ad states no hair tangles. This is untrue as I had to remove and clean the roller. (I vacuumed my house prior to using the robot so there was very little hair on the floor. )Very little dirt is picked up because the roller holds a wad of dog hair preventing other debris to go into the dirt bin. Again, this roller is advertised as good for picking up pet hair. It is not! You have to manually empty the bin in the robot, flip it over to remove the roller to remove the wad of hair. This occurred after I used a shop vac and manually washed all my new vinyl floors to do a deep clean a day before using this robot. Once hair removed, put everything back together and try to resume the process of cleaning.The second day of use is today. I used it 2 days ago and Vacuum is off line. Due to previous experience with the first YEEDI, I remembered I had to delete the app in order to get the vacuum back on line.So, I have to now delete the app and all information and reinstall the app. Take my camera on my phone to scan the scanning label in the robot. Put everything back into the app: my email, my country, etc you name it in order to use it.So, now I’m set to use it for a second vacuum cleaning. I’ve not dared to try the washing feature…. So the robot will go in a couple straight lines in a normal rectangle room and then all of a sudden it will veer on a diagonal Like it’s lost then it will come back and then it will do another diagonal across the room like it’s gone haywire.It has difficulty finding its home. It will go to several rooms looking for its home. Even when you place the vacuum within a foot of its homebase, it still runs through two rooms and a hallway trying to locate its home.Back to the diagonal, you don’t know when it’s going to veer off so do not be anywhere near this because it will run over your toes. It does not have a device apparently good enough to know that something‘s in front of it. It’s run over my toes. It has run over my dog’s toes, causing him to yelp.Buyer beware!! I have requested the company for a full refund. I will send this one back as it is also non-functioning. The app is absolutely terrible. I will update once I hear back from YEEDI.In the meantime, I will be buying a different brand which I should’ve bought a better name brand. Sorry Yeedi, but you do not deserve my money.

Si vous êtes comme moi et que vous avez un plancher de bois franc, pas besoin de dépenser pour une version à plus de 1 000 $ avec des gadgets inutiles. Ce petit YEEDI fait exactement ce qu’il faut : il garde ça propre sans se plaindre.Il ne fait pas le café, il ne sort pas les poubelles, mais pour aspirer la poussière et laver, il est fidèle au poste. Bref, un bon rapport qualité/prix pour ceux qui veulent juste un plancher propre sans trop dépenser.
