Great lock and even better customer service. I bought this lock about 6 months ago, love it, has been great with setting multiple codes and also using finger prints to scan in. Durable and easy to install. I randomly had it malfunction and reached out to customer support and had a brand new one arrive at my house the very next day. Will continue to buy from this company!

I’ve purchased several different keypad locks and this is the best. It was a lot cheaper, so I didn’t expect much. It’s very reliable. It’s intuitive. Programming was simple. The best feature though, is that EVERYTIME you shut the door, it goes back to locked, without fail. Every other lock I’ve purchased on Amazon, would randomly not auto lock, and that’s a deal breaker. I’ve never had the fingerprint option fail. Also the keypad works just as well. If you happen to somehow let the battery run out, and you don’t have a key, this thing has a place you can attach to a portable battery charger so you’re not left outside. We’ve had it about 3 weeks, used multiple times a day, and even in 10° weather, and it always works. Great purchase. Also, it looks smart too. Doesn’t look cheap at all. It’s also simple to turn and fits easy in your hand, not clunky or awkward. Now that I know it works, I’ll be buying a couple more for other doors. Also, there are reviews saying that any fingerprint will work, even if not programmed in—I have found this to be false. I’ve tried it many times and it will not open unless the actual fingerprint was programmed.

Batteries Don’t last..
This lock looks amazing and has tons of features, however, This lock also drains batteries in a matter of Months. I bought five of these locks for my new outdoor shop. I purchased them in Jan and didn’t install them until Feb. I have replaced all the batteries in each lock twice already. My shop has one main entrance and that door is used all the time.. I could understand the batteries in that lock being depleted quicker than the rest due to frequency of use but that isn’t the case. Three of the doors haven’t been used but once or twice and the batteries were still dead… If any rain gets on the finger scanning pad, the lock interprets the rain as and attempt to open the lock and will beep constantly until the water is removed.. I had one lock malfunction and customer service was amazing… but amazing customer service for a product that doesn’t work as advertised,” It operates on 2 AAA batteries, lasting over a year.” is worth the ink it has been written on.. too late to send them back.. Ill be buying manual key code locks for the shop..

Excellent door knob for front door or interior!
Easy to install and works well. I wasn’t sure how well it would work, but I was worried for nothing. Once installed it’s locked, which is the beauty of it, because you can only get in from outside with the code, fingerprint or key. So far it’s rained in my area and the key has gotten a little wet, so it requires the scanner and my finger or thumb to be dry when using the fingerprint to get in. No other glitches. Adding codes and the families fingerprint has been simple. With voice instruction assisting. Not a hassle at all. The square look is loved and actually favored over the round door knob, in my house. Overall, I got what I paid for and I’m happy with it.

Perfect for Parents of Special Needs Children – Keeps Our Home Safe and Secure
We purchased these fingerprint scanning door locks because we have a daughter with moderate to severe autism. She is non-verbal, and it’s extremely difficult to communicate with her about boundaries or unsafe areas in the house. For example, she has flooded our bathroom by turning on the bathtub water when unsupervised, and she’s played in the toilet more than once. We needed a way to secure certain areas for her safety and for our peace of mind.One of the rooms we secured is my office, which has my work computer and multiple monitors. She’s damaged equipment before, so keeping her out of that space is essential. We also use these locks to keep her out of rooms where dangerous items might be stored or where she could get hurt—like our guest bathroom and bedroom during the day. Our bedroom connects to another bathroom, so securing it means she can’t access that space either.After installing the first lock and seeing how well it worked—and how solid and well-made it felt—I immediately bought two more for other areas of the house. I’m seriously considering a fourth for the toilet room in our master bathroom, which has a window that’s not very high off the ground. We’ve caught her playing near it before, and we’re concerned she could fall if she got it open. With the door locked, that area stays safely out of reach.I’ve seen reviews where people said the fingerprint scanner didn’t work well, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. We’ve tested multiple fingerprints. I programmed mine, and it only unlocks for my fingerprints. My wife tried hers and it didn’t work until I specifically programmed her thumbs—and then both worked instantly. Scanning is fast—about a second—and consistent. Maybe others received defective units, but I’ve bought three, and they’ve all worked flawlessly.That said, I wouldn’t use these on an exterior door—I personally don’t trust electronic locks as the only barrier against intruders. Maybe they’d be fine for a mudroom or similar area, but not as your front door lock. Then again, if someone really wants in, they’re probably breaking a window anyway.For interior use, especially to keep children safe, I can’t recommend these enough. They’ve brought a lot of peace to our home, and I’m glad we took the chance despite the lower number of reviews. I bought this lock as it was advertised for outdoor use and I needed something for my exterior door. Unfortunately it didn’t survive the first time it caught some rain. The fingerprint sensor seems dead already and only the keylock works now. This is very disappointing as I installed the lock very recently and it only got rained on a day ago. Not happy and can’t recommend this product.Update: I would like to reduce my one star rating to zero stars if I could. The lock now consumes batteries in an unsustainable way and I have to uninstall it. The seller never got back to me after I asked for a refund. I highly doubt this lock is actually made for outdoor weather judging how quickly it broke after some rain. Very disappointed with the sellers reaction and will now escalate to Amazon. This was a really bad costumer experience and I feel Amazon needs to act here.
