This is such a great and easy to program device! We have 7 in the family and everyone was able to register 2 finger prints!We bought this smart lock and it has been the perfect upgrade for our home. It’s very easy to setup and has multiple options to lock and unlock the door. You can use the app, a fab, door codes, or even your finger print. It’s high quality and a sturdy deadbolt as well.Great choice for families with children who may lose or forget their key. This lock operates with a code as well as a key entry.I love that I can control it remotely through the app and even set codes for guests. Installation was straightforward, and the auto-unlock feature works perfectly. It feels solid and well-built — definitely worth the investment for convenience and safety.

Great smart lock with thoughtful features — just needs a few software tweaks
I installed this YHV smart lock on my front door, and overall, I’m very happy with it! I already use a Eufy smart lock on my door to the garage, so I’ve been able to compare the two pretty closely. Setup was simple for both.Pros compared to Eufy:Clear installation and “how to use” videos — they made the setup process really easy and straightforward.The YHV uses 4 AA batteries, so it’s faster to swap out compared to waiting for a rechargeable battery like on the Eufy.Built-in doorbell and camera — features the Eufy doesn’t have. When someone rings the doorbell, you can talk to the person and unlock the door directly from the app. The lock also takes a picture automatically and saves it in the activity log. Without a subscription, the photos are stored for 15 days, which is good enough for me.The YHV shows the exact battery percentage, unlike the Eufy, which only provides a general indicator.Cons compared to Eufy:Remote lock/unlock through the app works only when someone rings the doorbell, likely to preserve battery life. I hope they add full remote access in a future software update.The auto-lock feature only re-locks if the door was unlocked using the fingerprint sensor or password from outside, or the unlock button from inside, not when it’s manually turned from inside.Adding fingerprints requires a few extra keypad steps instead of doing it directly from the app, though it becomes easy once you get used to it.The AA batteries need to be replaced more often, but that’s fine for me since this lock isn’t used nearly as much — my family mainly goes in and out through the garage. The Eufy handles more daily use, while the YHV is perfect for the front door.Overall:This is a great smart lock for my front door — stylish, easy to install, and packed with thoughtful features like the doorbell, camera, and detailed battery tracking. Just bought this one and the installation is fairly straight forward. However, the password setup, fingerprint and app connection are not working at all. Following the video for first reset and it works only until configuring the lock direction. The admin key ‘0’ + ‘unlock’ does not activate the admin setup process at all.Disappointed and please do not buy.
