This piece of tech is an absolute must!
If you’re snatching captures or reeling in vid footage and want to backup your digital art forms (i.e. photos, cinematic vids, etc) or need to free up space on the TF or SD card in the field and on the go for that added assurance, not to mention that peace of mind?!…you absolutely need this digital sorcery in a pocketable encasement! The value, the specs, the features & versatility that the NewQ Filehub AC750 touts is without question a NO-BRAINER! Seriously, transferring your content from SD card to your portable Thumb drive, HDD, or SSD with a push of a button or with a very intuitive proprietary app thru your iPhone or Android is as easy as Lay’s Potato Chips! Coz only thing easy about pie is eating it! But a bag of chips goes with any lunch or munch. Anyhow, it is unfathomable how I used to get along without this piece of techno-wizardry, but now that I possess the power of the gods I am invincible! The killer feature and how to unlock it
AFAIK this is the only “computerless” SD -> USB drive or thumb drive backup solution available in October 2023. It advertises a one-click backup, just insert an SD card, attach a USB storage device, and hit the SD -> USB button for 5 seconds. My first couple of attempts failed and I got mad, but the mistakes were mine. I wanted to back up MOV files from my camcorder shooting soccer games. There are 12-15 files/game on an SD totaling 125GB or so, so some files are 10 or 11 GB each. The first USB drive I attached was formatted for a Mac, which is not supported, and did not work. The second drive I tried was formatted FAT so max 4GB file size and it would die on the first big file transfer it hit. I reformatted the thumb drive to be ExFAT and voila, everything works. It is not very quick, I estimate the backup will take just under 2 hours per SD, but it is computerless. You can use the NewHub app to look into directories on both the SD and USB to gauge rough file copy speed/time left. It would be killer if this thing had 2x Wifi radios in it so you could connect to a Wi-Fi network at a hotel and share it with all your devices (you can do so with an Ethernet connection, but few hotels in the US offer Ethernet Internet access). Support for captive pages to allow login along with that double WiFi would make this thing even better. Rounding up from 4.5 to 5 stars.

Terrible. Does not copy SD to USB
This thing is terrible. It advertises as a one click backup from SD to USB but it does not work. I plugged a hard drive in to the usb C and pressed the SD to USB button for 5 secs and did nothingTransferring over wifi takes forever!Overall this one is going into the garbage and not coming with me on my trips. Sad part is that is a great idea but sold as it would work but it doesnt.

Werkt snel en heel makkelijk. Veel gebruikt tijdens onze reis in Azië om alle videobeelden van de drone en camera te backuppen. Werkt overal en batterijduur is ook top. De juiste aansluitingen zijn er en ook het backup maken zonder telefoon gaat prima.

Per fare un backup ovunque in qualsiasi momento, l’ho preso per quello, ha altre funzioni utilissime, vedi wifi portatile, o powerbank, ma con una pendrive e questo aggeggio la sera si può fare una copia di tutte le foto del giorno. Non velocissimo, ma neanche così lento (dalla mia esperienza siamo sul giga a minuto), calcolando che fa tutto da solo con un tasto o da app va benissimo.

Ya antes tenía el filehub de ravpower, así que está versión me es familiar, y este producto lo recomiendo cuando quieras ir de viaje, o cuando quieras pasar fotos, videos, canciones o películas de una micro sd a un USB o viceversa, o bien fotos y vídeos a tu celular. Lo recomiendo ampliamente

Für eine längere Reise durch Rajasthan wollte ich meine Fotos täglich sichern.Gefunden habe ich diese Box, den NewQ-FileHub.Die Installation ist ziemlich einfach, eine deutsche Beschreibung liegt bei.Die WLAN-Funktion hat in den Hotel geklappt, nutze ich aber nur zu Testen.Wichtig war mir die Datensicherung von 2x V60 Sony Tough SD-Karten auf USB-Sticks bzw. SSD T7 von Samsung.Die Datensicherung funtioniert überraschen einfach: SD einstecken, USB einstecken, Stromversorgung einsteken und Taste drücken. Erstaunlich!Über die APP kann man am Handy die Sicherung ebenfalls starten und überprüfen.Die USB-Sticks 2.0 stellten sich als viel zu langsam heraus, die großen Datenmengen in akzeptabler Zeit zu sichern. Sie SSD T7 von Samsung dagegen spielt mit dem NewQ bestens zusammen. Die Sicherung der Fotos lief täglich fehlerfrei und schnell.Einziger Nachteil: die SD-Karten werden bei jedem Sicherungsvorgang komplett gesichert. Das heißt, der Sicherungsvorgang dauert täglich länger. Bei USB3.0 ist das aber auszuhalten.Nach dem Sichern kann über die App die Sicherung kontrolliert werden, auch nicht schlecht.Zusammenfassend bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem NewQ-FileHub, er hat seine Arbeit zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erledigt.
