Awesome
I bought this camera as a standalone unit that does not need Wi-Fi. I took a T-Mobile SIM card straight out of an extra phone that I had and stuck it into the camera and it worked flawlessly. Every now and again my service is slow so it will show on the camera but all in all that’s not the camera’s fault it’s T-Mobile’s. You get a great camera for the money and it has a lot of features on the app. I love how you get two different views one regular and then one a little bit more zoomed in. The zoom on the app works as well when you just pinch to zoom you can zoom in as far as you want to really. I’ve not had it not work for me at all it has been nothing but great so far. The battery lasts 100% of the time if you use the solar charger it never runs out no matter really how much you watch or stream to your phone or use the camera. It works great. There are a bunch of settings you can change as far as when you want your notifications and how you want them to come and where you want them to come it is really a good camera I couldn’t ask for a better solution for surveillance

Poor Software User Interface DESTROYED a good physical camera PRODUCT.
Reviews are BAD!Camera itself is great. Most expensive ReoLink model w/ dual lenses, 4k, 4g cellular, solar model. $280 on website & Amazon.Software – badSupport – below badTried to buy MORE cloud storage – no luck.Apparently the daily usage went from 100mb to 700mb when we turned on the “tracker”.2gb was used up quickly and we now have denied access to the camera regardless of cloud storage capacity/usage.Tried to buy more cloud storage but cannot get to the purchase area of the app.Tried to talk to a human, no luck – AI text support is a Joke.Cannot use camera until full cloud subscription renews in 2 weeks. We USED the camera for 6 weeks , did not know you had to “bind” the camera to the cloud service when we purchased cloud storage after we had a theft and no recordings even though we paid for a cloud subscription from day one.Why not Plug n Play? You would think when you buy the cloud storage it would prompt you to connect (bind) a camera! We have to order 12 more cameras and unfortunately they will not be REOLINK.Great concept & camera, horrible execution. We have $3,000 remote cameras in other regions of the country. This product could compete if they fixed the User Integration. Sad….UI should be simple.Do NOT BUY!

What a Surprise!
I installed this several weeks ago and was surprised to find signal where my cellphone doesn’t work. I use several Reolink cameras and have had great results. This camera didn’t disappoint, and I’m already familiar with their ecosystem. If you use it like I do, you can save on data. My primary use is person detection in remote areas. I have it set to video record people and take pictures of animals. I only get push notifications for people detection (alarms), which saves data on my plan!

Read product description. Doesn’t have optical zoom
Customer service is good. Very responsive.Has two cameras. One that’s zoomed in and one that’s not. It does move around and track. Just doesn’t have optical zoom. Only “digital zoom”Solar panel keeps it charged. Have never had an issue.Works great otherwise

Best Camera Yet
I love this camera. I use it for a security camera at my elderly sister’s place so I can keep an eye on things there. The close up image gives me a Birds Eye view of anyone who shows up at her house. You’ll love the trick that the camera does by going back to the same spot that you programmed it to. And will follow motion when detected. Images are sharp and clear. Gets my vote for “camera of the year”.

Awesome LTE PTZ camera
I bought this for a friend and installed it for them. LTE cameras are pricey but as long as you have cell coverage it’s completely worth it.The micro SD card slot is on the back of the camera ‘ball’ and the sim card slot and the on/off switch is on the side. Boths cards are under a cover that you need a small phillps head screwdriver for.I bought the EIOTClub 360 day 24gb prepaid data sim card. You do have to download the app to activate it. It’s actually a very easy process. You have to remember this is an LTE camera, so the PTZ function and playback can be a little slow responding depending on cell coverage. The camera itself is amazing, very durable metal casing, the night vision compared to standard IR is unbelievable and again makes the price difference worth it. This camera is essentially undetectable if you mount it in the right spot and no glow IR really helps it blend in.Mount it somewhere up high about 15′ so it’s not easily seen and it also helps catch a better cell signal. I mounted the solar panel about 5′ above it facing south east and it charged the camera from 30% to 100% in about 6 hours of good sunlight. If you want a PTZ camera that is completely wireless and essentially undetectable this is the one for you

Great Camera
UPDATE: I’ve had this camera for about 6 months. At first, it worked great. Within the last few months I’ve had nothing but connectivity issues. It has been very inconsistent and unreliable. Wish I could return it but it’s too late. This is a great camera for remote locations. The pics and video are clear, the range distance is the best I’ve been able to find so far, and the ability to operate remotely is exactly what I was looking for. It is a heavy, bulky camera but so worth it. Easy to set up and the solar panel keeps it going without a hitch. You will have to buy an SD cars & SIM card (LTE) separately.

Very happy with this camera. I mounted it in my backyard with the solar panel vertical, to simulate how it would be mounted out in the rural area I plan to install it. I need the panel to not get covered in snow.It has been rock solid for a month, and the battery is currently at 95% through a month of Canadian winter.Support has been fantastic. Needed a bit of help configuring the AP file for my SIM card and FTP setup. I have it sending clips to my Synology NAS for local storage and am using a Fizz mobile SIM card in Canada. The only thing that would be better is if it had a wifi option as well. I’d happily pay an extra $50 for wifi connectivity alongside the LTE. I only need the LTE coverage during the winter when the wifi at my cabin is off. Spring/Summer/Fall I could connect to wifi and not spend the money on the LTE service. But that’s a minor gripe. This is the only LTE camera to my knowledge that you don’t need a subscription for and can use pretty much any SIM card you want. Solar works as advertised, it tracks movement well. The 2nd lens doesn’t seem terribly useful, but perhaps once it’s mounted in a more distance oriented setting the two lenses will be beneficial.Following up 9 months later and the camera is about to be installed for the winter. I switched to a Bell SIM card for the LTE Security Camera they sell and it worked first time with no issues.

UPDATE Review 3 APP CLOUD STORAGE HORRIBLE, NOT USER FRIENDLY! LACKING IN FEATURES. Video quality ok but so difficult to understand settings on both cloud and device. Integrate with cloud edge and it might be better. You also can’t control your storage on the SD card. This company needs to look at how other cameras work and learn. My cloud storage stopped working. All in all, very unhappy.Review 1 Frustrating I can not set up the sim and support is not helpful. I’ve had this thing for a month and still unable to use it!Review 2 Got a new SIM from a different provider. The unit worked, yay. But then I put it out where I wanted it, plugged the solar panel in and all looked good. So I bought a year’s subscription to their cloud (not the best application by far) one day later it’s disconnected. No power! Solar panel is not charging. I’m so sick of the thing, I’m ready to send it back. They need to work on everything from sim provider services to the cameras functions. Not impressed at all.

The Reolink 4K trail camera is easy to use and offers great image quality with convenient features. It arrived in a sturdy, well-organized package with everything I needed to get started. The camera itself is solidly built, and the included solar panel makes it easy to keep the battery charged. Installation was quick and painless. The camera was mounted securely on a tree without any issues.Since the camera runs on a 4G LTE cellular network, there’s no need for Wi-Fi, making it perfect for remote locations. The camera supports multiple SIM cards, allowing you to choose your preferred carrier, and provides flexible storage options, including an SD card or FTP server. The camera delivers excellent 4K video both day and night. The dual lens design provides both a wide-angle and close-up view, giving you a complete perspective of your surroundings. Even at night, the camera captures good images in both colour and black-and-white modes, ensuring that you don’t miss important details. The motion tracking and auto-zoom functions work well, automatically focusing on moving animals or objects and providing clear, zoomed-in footage. I like the ability to control the camera remotely through the Reolink app, which makes it easy to access live footage and share content on the go. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly trail camera with excellent performance. Full marks from me!
