Bit the bullet, worth every penny.
I bought a PC from a friend and wanted to play it ASAP but it didn’t have a WIFI card, I ordered this and got same day delivery at a reasonable price; I seen the bad reviews of this but I bit the bullet anyway since it was the cheapest WiFi adapter that I could’ve gotten it same day. I put it in my PC and within 2 minutes I had WIFI, the setup was so simple all I had to do was press three buttons. The speed is great, I don’t lag when I play my online games and I get 150mbps download speed. If you need a reliable and quality WiFi adapter at a cheap price this is for you.

Awesome all around.
I work in a below-ground office. I needed to connect to an Access Point on ground level and the built-in wifi on my PC wasn’t reliably picking up signal. This WiFi adapter with high-gain antenna did the trick and now I can reliably connect and stay connected without any issues. Love that the antenna can be articulated for the best reception (like a TV antenna). Installation was a breeze as this adapter also mounts a USB storage device that contains the drivers. I wish all devices did this.

Worked like a charm.
Worked way better than the tiny little dongle my computer came with. This worked wonders and my speed test are all within a reasonable range with full on connectivity in another room away from my router. I have seen no drastic drop in performance as of yet, however it’s only been one evening and one day thus far. Overall happy with this product.Update: I noticed this device is supposed to pick up 600mbps and it is roughly only able to receive 444. Might be leached out or something. Still works just fine, that is my only complaint.

Works great after computer wouldn’t connect with a wifi card installed so bought this and loved that the USB came with the installation for the wifi felt great to handle so good quality discrete size so won’t take space on a pc and was very compatible with my high end pc.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:UGREEN CM-763 Wifi adapter worked for me very well. Better than expected. Windows installer/setup file came built in to the adapter, and Windows installation was a breeze. For LInux installation, I had to jump through hoops and loops (I had to get the Linux installer file from lulian site). Despite Linux installtion was a bit confusing to me, I could not give it less than 5-star; because, of its great value, ease of Windows installtion, and LInux drivers eventually installed fine. Once installion was completed, this UGREEN CM-763 deliered the speed that I was hoping for.[Sidenote: I had bought another Wifi adapter prior to this one, that item was pathetically slow. Amazon took that J##k back.]

Not Compatible with Linux out of the Box
It works, it’s size is good if you want something with a proper antenna, I saw improved speeds over my old wireless G adapter.However, I run Linux Mint and it doesn’t work out of the box. It’s possible to get it working but you’re downloading an installing a driver off a random Chinese site. It tries to be clever and initially appear as a USB mass storage device with the windows installer. But there’s no Linux installer included or an easy way to just get it working. I’m taking it down to 3/5 because there’s no reason that it shouldn’t work with Linux out of the box, or at least include an installer alongside the Windows one.

I grabbed this Wifi dongle to plug into an old computer that I am using in my garage for internet access. It used to be ethernet connected, but I needed to move it to somewhere that doesn’t have a port available, so the dongle came to the rescue.Despite saying that this was for Windows 10/11, I can report that his dongle worked perfectly on a Windows 7 32bit sytem with the drivers that were cleverly included on the device itself. Not a hiccup, not a glitch. It just worked. And even though the Wifi coverage in my garage is a little sketchy, I had no problems getting the maximum expected speeds on an internet speed test as well.I am very impressed with this product, and if it continues to work as well as it has done so far, it will have proven to be an invaluable addition to give the old garage computer a bit longer to be useful.
