Easy programming and installation
This repaced a fairly new exterior door handle lock. I wanted a keyless option. The lock fit the existing holesn in the the door and jam. Programming was easy for me but may be a bit tedious for others. Just make sure you practice some with the lock prior to the actual installation. Also, pre-program pins and record them before installing the lock. This makes it muych easier as you may want to clear the lock and start over if you make mistakes.This lock is competitively priced and includes 20 pins and a one-time use option. Locking is easy, just hold any button for 2 seconds. Battery life is advertised as up to 1 year. I used lithum batteries so it should last more than that. A red light comes on whent the battery level is low and you can make sure you change the batteries before the lock stops working. The keys are the backup and work regardless of the electronic pins. The pins (CODES) are stored in the lock and are not lost when changing batteries.Although cosmetics are not an issue for me, this would be fine for use as an entry door lock.

Easy to install, works as intended.
This Keyless Entry Lock was easy to install (by my daughter…LOL), taking less than 45 minutes from removing the old keyless entry lock (that no longer worked), to entering the codes on my new lock. The overall look is beautiful, and the quality is actually fantastic, considering the price. I initially was looking at a higher cost item, to again replace the non-functioning keyless lock previously on my door, but considering that lock didn’t last, and cost over $100 when initially purchased, I wasn’t giving that manufacturer a second chance, so after reading the reviews on this lock, I took a chance……so glad I did. The lock works as intended. It unlocks the first time you enter your code (I would have to enter my code several times on the previous lock before it would unlock…..uggggg). The key actually works……again, the key on the previous lock had a “system” (lift the handle, turn the key to the left, turn the key to the right, turn the handle the opposite direction……SERIOUSLY, WHAT???!!!!). And did I say that was a big name manufacturer? Yep, sure did. If you’re looking for a keyless entry lock, or need a replacement, seriously give this item a try. So glad I did.

Shockingly good
I was unsure of moving to this kind of door lock. But our ancient front door lockset began to fail, so we tried these. Quite easy to install. takes all of 10 mintutes to change the locksets. Only took a few minutes more to program. I like that there is no device intrerconnectivity. You need the cod or the key, not an app. And its auto-lock function is more useful that I’d thought it would be.Note: If you are installing on a steel door, make certain that the area around the lock hole has not collapsed. We discovered one had, and that caused the strker mechanism to bind and break after a few uses. You can find repair plates here to resolve that problem.

Perfect replacement.
I bought this to replace a kwikset key in the knob lockset. It fit the existing holes perfectly and was a quick install. I took 1 star off because the programming information in the manual sent with the lock doesn’t tell you that you have to input you personally code twice or it isn’t saved. After trying to program it several times I found a you tube video that showed exactly how to program it. It works great and is quicker than than messing with a key. I recommend it.

Exactly what I needed
This is exactly what I needed to become keyless. I don’t have to carry a big keychain and easy to open if my hands are full. The installation was a breeze and setup was extremely intuitive using the instructions. The auto lock saves me. I will say that there are likely others at a higher price point that might feel better but for this price, can’t beat it. Also comes with a key to use so my building has access as well.
